Tracking Africa Systems

The simple fuel level detector is used for the precise measurement of fuel level and volume in the tanks of vehicles and stationary units. The simple fuel level sensor can determine the current fuel volume and the volume change (refueling or draining) of fuel in the tank. The simple fuel level sensor is used in GPS tracking and vehicle telematics systems as an additional fuel sensor or as a replacement for the standard (factory) built-in fuel level sensor. When used as part of the telematics system, The simple fuel level sensor provides reliable and accurate information on the current fuel volume in the tank and reveals any misuse and theft of fuel in the tank. The simple fuel level sensor also gives a general overview of the fuel consumption per vehicle or stationary unit.

Built on new technology – Burger IoT

The simple fuel level sensor is based on IoT Burger technology and supports S6 technology. IoT Burger technology enables maximum data processing “on board”. Raw fuel level data is refined by sensor and only useful information is sent to the telematics unit. This helps to avoid blind spots caused by data transfer interval and to get more accurate and stable information in telematics software.

Multi-cell measurement with S6 technology

S6 technology is used to create a network of IoT devices in one object. The simple fuel level sensor is compatible with S6 technology and allows a network of sensors to be created on a vehicle / stationary unit. This feature makes it possible to monitor the volume of fuel in several tanks at the same time and also allows the connection of other on-board telematics equipment. The advantages for humans are that all sensors are configured and all data is sent via a single cable, connected to the CAN port of the telematics device.

90% cutting length, increased to 6000 mm

The DUT-E measuring probe can be cut to 90% of its original length and / or extended to 6000mm. The cutting / extension length can be done directly at the place of installation, just before mounting on the fuel tank. This increases the installation speed of installation time, reduces the cost of delivering the sensor to the place of installation, which is especially important for projects where the fuel tanks exceed 1000mm.

DUT-E installation

The single fuel level sensor has a standard 5 bolt flange and can be installed in a location where the standard fuel sensor is located or in a separate opening of the fuel tank. All the details needed to install and seal the single fuel level sensor are included in the mounting kit. After the installation of the simple fuel level sensor is complete, you need to perform the tank calibration. A calibration table is built into the process, where the output signals from the sensor correspond to the correct fuel levels in the tank. This table is used by a fuel monitoring system to determine the amount of fuel in the tank.
