Tracking Africa Systems

The GSM fuel level detector is a combination of FLS features and telematics units in one body. GSM Fuel Level Sensor is a fuel level sensor with built-in modules to receive GPS satellite signals and send data over GSM network, i.e. wireless data transfer.

GSM fuel level sensor measures fuel level and volume of fuel in the tank, determines location, speed, direction of movement, monitors vehicle on-board network – all data is sent to the telematics service analytical reports to use.

Features

Fuel tank monitoring: volume, filling, emptying

Fuel theft detection

Fuel consumption monitoring

GPS tracking

Integrated GPS receiver and GSM modem

The GSM fuel level detector is a device with 2 in 1 functionality: measurement of the volume of the fuel tank and real-time GPS tracking. The data received is transmitted to the Internet via a GSM cellular network. The GSM fuel level detector – ready-to-use hardware solution for fuel monitoring and vehicle position tracking, usable even without telematics service.

Remote configuration via the Internet

The parameters of the GSM fuel level sensor can be adjusted remotely via the Internet. The technical support specialist can change settings remotely from the office, without any physical contact with the sensor and without requiring the fleet operator to stop the vehicle, where the sensor is installed . This allows the setting to be changed depending on the operating conditions of the vehicle.

Recognize events and send ready-to-use reports

GSM Fuel Level Sensor generates up to 30 ready-to-use analytical reports containing data on fuel volume, vehicle location, speed, direction of movement, and more. Reports are generated regularly (from 1 to 24 hours) or from event recognition. The event is an operating parameter change situation, eg. engine start / stop, refueling, theft of fuel from the tank, speeding, etc.

Serverless operation

The GSM fuel level detector can operate without a telematics server, as reports can be sent directly to the user via SMS and email. This feature is especially useful for stationary machine users, who do not need a GPS position, but require wireless data transfer.

Connect other sensors via the CAN / S6 interface

The presence of the S6 interface allows the GSM fuel level detector to work as part of the telematics interface and to summarize up to 7 pieces of Single fuel level detector or 2 Bio and 8 fuel level detector parts Marine fuel flow meter, FMSCrocodile, Spring axle load control or Pressure axle load control. This is very convenient for monitoring the operations of complex technological objects and fixed units. In this case, the GSM fuel level detector records and processes the data for subsequent transmission to the telematics server. Server software processes and analyzes the received data to generate analytical reports for a selected period of time

Location monitoring

GSM Fuel Level Sensor determines unit location, travel speed and direction in real time using GNSS signals. Location data is transferred to the server via 2G / 3G technology.
