Tracking Africa Systems

Pressure axle load control is used to determine axle load in vehicles with air suspension in transport telematics systems.

The pressure sensor measures the pressure in the vehicle pneumatic system and transmits the data as an analog signal to the telematics terminal. It is recommended to use CKPT by Technoton online terminals to organize transport tracking with axle load and weight monitoring.

Tasks

Load control and cargo weight control in vehicle tracking systems

Driver supervision, no sneaky cargo

No fines exceeding existing limits

Characteristics

Compliance with European and Russian automotive standards; the linear characteristic of the output signal simplifies data processing by a fleet monitoring system; the output signal is stabilized and does not depend on the voltage on board; protection against short circuits and cords; mounting elements included.

Functioning principles

The principle of operation of pressure axle load control is based on the transformation of compressed air pressure into output voltage. The resistive bridge is used as a transducer. The output of the sensor generates a stabilized analog voltage signal. The voltage signal varies with the pressure in the vehicle’s air suspension circuit passing through the transducer inlet threaded fitting.
